Tesla voucher code FAQ (UK, 2026)
Straight answers, grouped by what you’re really asking — the voucher myth, the real UK saving, and using or sharing the link. Every figure is sourced and dated; re-verify before you order.
The voucher myth
Are the “20–50% off Tesla” codes on coupon sites real?
No. No third-party site can discount a Tesla car. Those listings are Tesla Shop offers (merchandise/accessories) at best, or simply fabricated to earn clicks. There is no code that takes a percentage off the car itself.
Where does Tesla actually have a voucher-code box?
On the Tesla Shop checkout for merchandise, accessories and home chargers. Those voucher codes are country-specific and never apply to buying a car.
Why do so many sites claim there’s a Tesla discount code?
Because the phrase gets searched a lot, and coupon-aggregator sites farm it with fake listings to win clicks. The honest answer — no car coupon exists; the real saving is a referral link — is rarely given, which keeps the myth alive.
The real UK saving
How many free Supercharging miles do UK buyers get?
Currently 650 miles on a new Model 3 or Model Y bought through a referral link. Re-verify on tesla.com/en_gb before ordering — Tesla changes the figure periodically.
Do the free Supercharging miles expire?
Tesla applies Supercharging credit to your account after delivery; expiry and terms can change, so check the current UK Refer and Earn terms at handover. We don’t state an expiry we can’t source.
What is 650 free Supercharging miles worth in GBP?
It depends on your car’s efficiency and the Supercharging price you’d otherwise pay, so a single fixed £ number would be made up. Estimate it as (650 ÷ your mi/kWh) × the live UK price per kWh. We keep a dated worked example in the blog.
What do Model S, Model X or Cybertruck buyers get in the UK?
Nothing via the referral programme. Model S/X were removed from the UK/EU referral programme (~June 2026); no new RHD custom orders, and the Cybertruck is not officially sold and not road-legal in the UK as of July 2026.
Using and sharing the link
How do I make sure the referral benefit actually applies?
Open a valid referral link before you configure your car, then build and order in the same session on tesla.com/en_gb. The benefit is recognised at checkout automatically and cannot be added after the order is placed.
Is using a referral link safe?
Yes. A referral link only attaches an owner’s referral code to your order; it doesn’t change your
price, take payment, or share your details. You still order directly on tesla.com/en_gb, and every
referral link here uses rel="nofollow sponsored noopener".
How do I share my own link and earn credits?
Open the Tesla app → your profile → Refer and Earn to find your link
(ts.la/<yourcode>). You earn referral credits toward Tesla products (not
cash), capped at 10 referrals per calendar year. Full guide:
