No — and this is asked often enough to be worth answering plainly rather than leaving people to guess. The programme rewards referring someone else, so a code cannot be applied to its own owner's purchase. There is no configuration of accounts, addresses or household members that turns your own code into a discount on your own order.

Two adjacent cases people conflate with it. If you already own a Tesla and are buying a second, you are a returning buyer, not your own referrer — you would need someone else's code. And if a family member owns a Tesla, using their code is perfectly ordinary: you get the buyer benefit, they get the credits, and nothing about living at the same address changes that.

Possibly, and the reason is mechanical rather than anyone's fault: the benefit attaches to the browser session that creates the order. If an advisor placed the order on their own system, your session was never involved, so there was nothing for a link to tag.

What to do differs sharply by timing. Before the order is submitted, say so out loud: give the advisor the code and ask to see the referral reflected in the order summary before you agree to anything. After the order exists, there is no route — the same rule that applies to online orders applies here, and no member of staff can add one retroactively. The scheme has two gates. One is a list-price cap of £37,000. The other is an environmental criterion applying to the manufacturer, which requires a Science Based Target verified by the SBTi — and Tesla does not hold one. So a Tesla sits outside the grant at any price: a cheaper configuration would not qualify either, which is what the widely repeated "most Teslas cost too much" framing wrongly implies.
