How this site makes money, precisely
The referral links on this site are referral links. If you open one and go on to order a Tesla, the owner of the code that was shown to you may receive Tesla Credits from Tesla. That is the entire commercial model, and there are three things worth being explicit about.
- It costs you nothing and changes nothing. The price of the car is identical whether you use a referral link or type tesla.com directly. Your benefit is identical too — there is no version of the referral where the referrer's reward is funded out of yours.
- We are not paid per click. Nothing on this site pays out unless a real order completes and a car is delivered. That matters for how we write: a page that talked you into a purchase you regretted would be worth nothing to us, and a page that gave you a figure you later found was wrong would be worth less.
- Every referral and outbound commercial link carries
rel="nofollow sponsored". That is the honest technical marking for a link with a commercial interest behind it, and we apply it without exception.
Why the codes rotate
Most referral sites publish one code — the owner's. All the traffic, and therefore all the reward, goes to one person. That has a practical downside for you as well as an ethical one: a referrer who has reached their annual cap of successful referrals can no longer generate a benefit, so a single stale code eventually stops working for everybody who visits.
This site draws from a pool instead, picking one real code at random on each page load. It spreads the reward across participants rather than concentrating it, and it reduces the chance that you land on an exhausted code. Two consequences you can verify yourself: the code you see may differ if you reload the page, and there is never a separate page per code — codes are data on this site, never their own URLs.
What we will not do
Stating this is more useful than a general promise of integrity, because these are the specific things referral sites in this niche routinely do:
- We won't invent a figure. Where we cannot confirm a number at a primary source, we say so and publish the method instead. That is why this site gives you a formula for what free Supercharging miles are worth rather than a single confident "£X".
- We won't imply a discount exists where it doesn't. There is no voucher code for a Tesla car. We say that on the page targeting the exact phrase people search for, which costs us traffic from readers hoping for a different answer.
- We won't claim our code is better. Every valid referral code opens the identical benefit for a given market. Any site suggesting otherwise is describing something that does not exist.
- We won't leave a figure undated. Every page carries a review date, so you can judge for yourself whether it has been checked recently enough to trust.
